About

Retrievercon is the annual anime convention of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), run by the UMBC Anime Society! UAS started Retrievercon in the Fall of 2013; this will be our eighth. This coming Retrievercon is on March 13th, 2021 from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free, and we welcome students and the general public to our convention. We will have anime showings, vendors, panels, a cosplay contest, and more!

We are open to any and all volunteers to help us run the event.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can email us at uasofficers [at] gmail [dot] com.

You can also find Retrievercon on Facebook and UAS on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Prize support for the convention is provided by Rightstuf! ありがとう〜

About UAS

Established in 1994, the UMBC Anime Society was founded with the goal of "celebrating the art of Japanese Animation". Over twenty-five years later, we continue to celebrate anime with our Friday showings, our semesterly 24-hour Marathon, and more recently, Retrievercon. Our regular meetings are Friday evenings from 6 to 11 pm in Admin 101; they are, and always have been, "free and open to the public".

The current officer board is:
